Job Summary:

As a Busser at TPG Hotels, Resorts & Marina, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a clean and pleasant dining experience. Your responsibilities will include clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear and reset tables promptly after guests depart, ensuring tables are clean and ready for the next guests.
  • Remove used dishes, glasses, silverware, and other items from tables and take them to the dishwashing area.
  • Replace table settings as needed, including linens, silverware, and glassware.

Customer Assistance:

  • Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Refill water glasses and replenish bread, butter, and other table items as needed.

Cleanliness and Organization:

  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
  • Ensure that service areas are stocked with necessary supplies, such as napkins, silverware, and condiments.
  • Assist in the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including restrooms and entryways.

Team Support:

  • Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
  • Assist in preparing the dining area for service, including setting up tables and arranging seating.
  • Participate in preshift meetings and training sessions as required.

Health and Safety:

  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Restaurant Manager or Shift Supervisor.
  • Ensure that all areas are safe and free of hazards, promptly addressing any issues that arise.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed.

Work Schedule:

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
