Food Service Associate Lead

At Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Associate Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and maintenance of our front and back house facilities.
The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience in food service, with leadership experience preferred. As a Food Service Associate Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that all food is prepared safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Trains and guides Food Service staff on job duties and proper safety and sanitation procedures.
- Maintains Nutrition office records, including patient census and meal counts.
- Visits patients to monitor patient satisfaction and explain menu selection.
- Corrects patient menus to meet prescribed diet requirements.
- Ensures Food Service staff sets up and stocks assigned stations prior to service.
- Guides Food Service staff on proper HACCP and production record keeping.
- Supports proper Cash Handling procedures.
- Compiles production sheets for patient and retail service areas.
