Job Summary
We are seeking a Chief Engineer to supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the operation and maintenance of main boiler room, heat recovery boiler room, air compressors and HVAC systems and equipment. The successful candidate will have active refrigeration and Boiler operator NJ blue seal licenses required, and must possess and maintain a valid NJ driver's license.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the operation and maintenance of main boiler room, heat recovery boiler room, air compressors and HVAC systems and equipment
• Schedule shifts and oversee daily operation of high pressure steam generating plant and auxiliary equipment
• Responsible for weekly reports identifying fuel oil and natural gas consumption, water, BTU s produced, make-up water generated, chiller plant, and ensure compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations
• Insure that [unit/department/division] is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations
• Familiar with BMS and fire alarm system monitoring and operation, capable to work independently to troubleshoot and maintain equipment, knowledgeable of steam supply and distribution
• Responsible to perform emergency repair and coordinate with outside contractor as needed, must be available to respond to emergency situation during off hours
