Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Professional Development Practitioner to join our team at Akron Children's Hospital. This full-time position will be responsible for advancing the profession of nursing and healthcare through education, research, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the professional development of staff through education and training programs
  • Support collaborative relationships and life-long learning among healthcare professionals
  • Use the educational design process to bridge knowledge, skills, and practice gaps
  • Influence inter-professional practice and learning environments
  • Promote the generation and dissemination of new knowledge and evidence-based practice
  • Support transitions of nurses and other healthcare team members across learning and practice environments
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or BSN with a focus on Nurse Education
  • Experience in project management and data analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Office or similar software
  • Registered Nurse licensure and BLS certification
  • Nursing Professional Development certification preferred
