Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property, including public and patient areas.
  • Use cleaning carts to transport cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, offices, and other areas as needed.
  • Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
  • Remove linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets, and replace with clean items.
  • Stock towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms.
  • Pick up and empty trash containers.
  • Load washers and dryers and fold sheets and towels in laundry rooms as needed.
  • Notify maintenance personnel if equipment is not functioning properly.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Detail-oriented and thorough in cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
  • Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of patients, residents, and staff.
  • Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English/Spanish to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
  • Education sufficient to read, write, and speak as needed for the job.
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping department in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Experience cleaning patient rooms, kitchens, and public areas.
