Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Loma Linda University Medical Center. As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide advanced patient care, including evaluations, goal setting, treatment planning, and family training.

Our ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communicative Disorders and a minimum of one year of experience in a Medical Speech Pathology or Rehabilitation setting. Current licensure and certification in Speech Pathology are also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient care as per physician's orders
  • Supervise non-CCS paneled staff as requested
  • Participate in case conferences and discharge planning meetings
  • Work with the program coordinator, case manager, and/or MTU/school representative to communicate and coordinate recommendations for ongoing therapy and equipment needs upon discharge

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • Minimum one year of experience in a Medical Speech Pathology or Rehabilitation setting
  • Current licensure and certification in Speech Pathology
  • CCS-Paneled required if assigned to Pediatric Rehabilitation or fulfill CCS paneling requirements within twelve months from hire date
