POSITION SUMMARY

The Healthcare Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the daily functions of a hospital-based Asset360 initiative, which encompasses managing client relationships and supervising staff. This role is pivotal in optimizing equipment usage, inventory management, and supply oversight while contributing to revenue enhancement efforts to meet both short-term and long-term financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Healthcare Operations Supervisor I:

  • Proactively oversees the on-site service program (i.e., Asset360) and provides leadership to all on-site personnel to ensure that business objectives are met.
  • Collaborates with internal teams during client meetings to foster revenue growth, manage costs, and expand service offerings.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of medical equipment and conducts training sessions for both company and client staff.
  • Manages equipment inventory and maintains par levels in accordance with contractual agreements and policies.
  • Addresses issues related to missing or lost equipment, accessories, and software updates.
  • Conducts audits and regular internal reviews to ensure adherence to effective business management practices.
  • Ensures compliance with patient privacy regulations in all operations.
  • Participates in hospital committees such as Infection Control, Quality Control, and Safety Committees, integrating relevant hospital protocols into daily operations.
  • Maintains a proactive stance on safety, health, and quality, adhering to all company and regulatory standards.
  • Recruits, trains, and develops team members, emphasizing continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Encourages open communication among team members to enhance visibility for both internal staff and clients.
  • Makes informed and timely decisions.
  • Develops staffing and on-call schedules based on operational demand.
  • Holds self and team accountable for task completion.
  • Utilizes effective conflict resolution skills to address customer and staff concerns.
  • Ensures accurate documentation for billing and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assists with account receivable collections and understands billing processes.
  • Performs additional assigned duties as required.

Healthcare Operations Supervisor II:

  • In addition to all responsibilities of Supervisor I:
  • Manages an Asset360 program that is classified as a Tier 1 program based on revenue size and complexity.
  • Trains and mentors new Healthcare Operations Supervisors.
  • Participates in the training of other division members.
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple locations effectively.
  • Utilizes customer engagement skills to strengthen relationships and initiate solution-focused discussions.
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in Asset360 and medical equipment.
  • Involved in new Asset360 implementations.
  • Exhibits a thorough understanding of service offerings and contractual commitments.
  • Demonstrates exceptional presentation skills, conducting customer reviews and training sessions.
  • Initiates and implements continuous improvement strategies in office and account management.
  • Displays a strong sales aptitude, identifying opportunities for growth.

Healthcare Operations Supervisor III:

  • In addition to all responsibilities of Supervisor II:
  • Leads teams of leaders.
  • Travels across multiple states to various accounts.
  • Reports directly to the Divisional Operations Director.
  • Ensures compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Standardizes all programs within the division.
  • Develops comprehensive client relationships.
  • Collaborates with key sales representatives to explore new business segments.
  • Establishes an account maturity index.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in supervisory or management roles with a focus on customer excellence.
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare sector and understanding of hospital medical equipment is advantageous.
  • Business and financial management skills to support contract oversight and maintain account margins.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to build credibility and trust with clients and staff.
  • Quality-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
  • Understanding of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and customer profitability metrics.
  • Experience in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Able to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
