ELECTRICAL OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

POSITION SUMMARY

The Electrical Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of electrical installation and maintenance activities. This role involves directing personnel and ensuring that all electrical systems and components are installed and maintained to the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical work, ensuring logical progression and adherence to project timelines.
  • Implement quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of work.
  • Review project specifications to determine the most effective construction methodologies.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Prepare essential documentation, including safety analyses and reports.
  • Monitor project schedules and forecast manpower needs to align with project objectives.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan construction activities effectively.
  • Manage material and supply requests to ensure timely availability.
  • Oversee the activities of electricians, apprentices, and temporary staff, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Assist in the selection and management of subcontractors for specialized tasks.
  • Collaborate with management and trade partners to resolve any operational challenges.
  • Utilize measuring tools to accurately mark site locations for installations.
  • Analyze workforce performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Provide training on construction techniques, equipment operation, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Fulfill all electrician duties as required.
  • Contribute to the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process and its implementation.
  • Maintain proficiency in basic computer operations.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D).
  • Licensure as an electrician or 4-10 years of relevant experience.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
