Technical Product Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sprint backlog process, ensuring that tasks are well-defined and prioritized according to business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, QA, etc.) to ensure the timely and quality delivery of product features.
- Ensure effective quarterly and sprint planning cycles, tracking sprint health, velocity, and overall project quality metrics.
- Work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements, ensuring they align with the overall product roadmap and customer needs.
- Implement and maintain Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) controls, ensuring processes are adhered to for high-quality releases.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, configurability, and operational efficiencies.
- Act as a key point of contact for technical issues related to product functionality, performance, and quality.
- Facilitate discussions between technical teams to resolve challenges, optimize product architecture, and improve scalability.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Product, Engineering, and Release Management teams to ensure that all parties are aligned on product objectives and deliverables.
- Communicate product updates, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the software or tech sector.
- Strong background in procurement platforms, enterprise software, or SaaS products.
- Proven track record of managing sprints and ensuring successful product releases.
- Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in working with engineering teams and translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience in managing operational quality, backlog prioritization, and sprint health metrics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, microservices architecture, and enterprise-level SaaS solutions.
- Understanding of SDLC controls and product configurability best practices.
- Knowledge of procurement platforms, AI, and supply chain solutions is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
