Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Nexeo Staffing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial production equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety procedures.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance tasks on production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly to maintain production efficiency.
  • Parts Management: Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and supplies, ensuring all components are available for maintenance tasks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance (PM) schedules, repairs, and equipment performance.
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the interior and exterior of the facility, including HVAC systems, conveyor belts, temperature control, dust collection systems, and air compressors.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate schedules and obtain quotes from outside vendors for specialized maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Tool Operation: Safely operate various power and hand tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Compliance: Adhere to cGMP standards and all safety requirements during maintenance activities.
  • Support Production Team: Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed to ensure smooth operation of equipment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Allan Bradley PLCs and handling electrical systems up to 480 volts.
  • Organizational Skills: Extremely organized with the ability to maintain a clean and orderly workstation; ensure tools and parts are properly stored.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with Excel for maintaining maintenance logs and audit reporting.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Attitude: Reliable with a positive, can-do attitude.
