Urban Education Leadership Role at Green Dot Public Schools

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educational leader to join our team as an Assistant Principal at Green Dot Public Schools. As a key member of our school leadership team, you will play a crucial role in fostering academic achievement and supporting the growth of our students.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary range of $103,000 - $155,344 per year, depending on experience.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the school, including instructional programs, student discipline, and staff supervision.
  • They will also work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement effective educational strategies that promote student success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the daily operations of the school, including instructional programs, student discipline, and staff supervision.

  3. Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality education.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports, as required by state and federal regulations.
  5. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid California Administrative Credential or Certificate of Eligibility.
  • A minimum of 5 years of teaching or counseling experience, with a history of improving student achievement.
  • Proven management and leadership capabilities, as well as team-building skills.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment, with a passion for innovation and improvement.
