We are currently seeking a Principal RF Engineer to join our innovative Access Network Solutions Team.

This essential role will significantly contribute to our goal of enhancing global connectivity through advanced engineering practices.

Your Role in Connecting the World:


Reporting directly to the Director of Hardware Engineering, you will focus on CATV RF Amplifiers, including Full Duplex and Extended Spectrum DOCSIS variants.

This position involves simulation, modeling, breadboarding, and prototype assessment of RF and Digital circuitry utilized in these RF amplifiers.


Your expertise in broadband RF components will allow you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional design teams, including mechanical, electrical, testing, and operations engineers.


As a vital member of our laboratory team, you will utilize network and spectrum analyzers to conduct measurements such as frequency response, return loss, noise figure, non-linear distortion, signal-to-noise ratio, bit error rate, modulation error ratio, optical modulation index, and thermal analysis.

You will provide recommendations to the interdisciplinary team to enhance performance and elevate product quality.

This position requires on-site presence five days a week to engage with our team.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree with over 10 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in:
Knowledge of CATV RF Amplifiers and the following:
Electrical design principles.

Circuit analysis and modeling software.

Schematic capture and PCB design tools.

Familiarity with software such as Keysight Genesys.

Experience with testing equipment including Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers.

Understanding of product lifecycle methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with DOCSIS Cable TV Standards.

Experience with RF components, designs, and circuits.

Knowledge of digital communication integrated circuits and microcontrollers.
