Email Marketing Strategist is centered on planning and evaluation rather than execution (deployment/coding/etc.). This role requires effective communication with Marketing partners and regional directors to articulate insights and offer recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, establish, and baseline objectives/metrics, translating them into actionable email marketing initiatives.
  • Create email designs/templates that are responsive and engaging for our audience while adhering to industry best practices.
  • Review all creative materials to ensure optimization for delivery and performance, meeting the specifications outlined in the creative brief.
  • Formulate email strategies for specific campaigns scheduled for the month.
  • Develop an email campaign timeline and manage the daily execution of email campaign development.
  • Liaise with email service providers regarding specifications and the development of campaign functionalities.
  • Coordinate reviews and feedback with cross-functional teams and oversee handoffs.
  • Analyze email campaign outcomes and provide actionable suggestions for enhancement.
  • Engage in daily standup meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of practical email production experience in a relevant industry executing marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles that contribute to brand development, traffic generation, and revenue growth.
  • Proficient in CRM and campaign management.
  • Capable of reading, writing, and managing large text files.
  • Familiar with dynamic personalization and audience segmentation.
  • Experienced with Google Analytics, A/B Testing, and other marketing automation tools.
  • Knowledgeable in working with APIs and email automation.
  • Self-motivated individual with a robust work ethic, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiar with Agile Development Principles.
