Job Summary

As a Substation Installation Technician II, you will be responsible for building concrete forms, assembling substation steel, and installing footing concrete. You will also install power transformers, regulators, substation bus, and equipment, as well as underground cables and terminators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Builds concrete forms and assembles substation steel
  • Installs power transformers, regulators, and substation bus
  • Operates bucket truck and other equipment necessary to complete project
  • Maintains a safe work environment and reports work-related problems, material or supply needs, and equipment to crew Foreman

Requirements:

  • 1 year related experience and/or training
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of work week
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical and post-offer Fitness for Duty exam
  • Must wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
