Position Overview

SAIC is seeking a Lead Policy Research Analyst with an active TS/SCI clearance. This role will collaborate with Joint Staff, Combatant Command, and Service teams to conduct capability development analysis, identifying deficiencies and proposing solutions for interoperability and integration.

This position requires full-time onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate relevant documentation, including DoD Architecture Framework products, organizational structures, training, leadership and education, personnel considerations, facility assessments, and policy recommendations.
  • Engage with US and NATO entities on cybersecurity matters, addressing assessments and security challenges related to joint multinational networks and non-governmental organization networks.
  • Function autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Qualifications

Mandatory Clearance:

  • TS/SCI clearance is required to commence.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with at least four (4) years of relevant experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possesses strong time and task management abilities.
  • At least three years of experience in requirements generation, development, or testing, specifically in cybersecurity within a Joint, Combatant Command, Service, or NATO context.
  • Familiarity with US and NATO cybersecurity practices, including assessments involving red teaming, defensive cyber operations, and the establishment of Joint and coalition networks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to propose preliminary solutions to diverse challenges efficiently and effectively.
  • Competence in analyzing requirements and capabilities against supporting architectural views.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), Information Support Plan (ISP) process, DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), and the Command, Control, Communications, and Computers/Cyber Functional Capabilities Board (C4/Cyber FCB).

SAIC is open to receiving applications continuously, with no specific deadline.
