Position Overview

SAIC is seeking a Lead Policy Research Analyst with an active TS/SCI clearance. This role will provide critical support to Joint Staff, Combatant Command, and Service teams by conducting comprehensive capability development analysis to pinpoint deficiencies and propose effective solutions for interoperability and integration.

This position requires full-time onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate various supporting documents, including DoD Architecture Framework products, Doctrine, Organization, Training, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, Policy Change Recommendations, and Concept of Operations.
  • Collaborate with US and NATO entities on cybersecurity matters, focusing on assessments and security challenges associated with joining joint multinational networks and supporting non-governmental organization networks.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Qualifications

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with at least four (4) years of experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possess strong time and task management capabilities.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in requirements generation, development, or testing, particularly in cybersecurity within a Joint, Combatant Command, Service, or NATO context.
  • Familiarity with US and NATO cybersecurity protocols, including assessments involving red teaming, defensive cyber operations, and the establishment of Joint and coalition networks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of providing preliminary solutions to diverse challenges in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Skilled in analyzing requirements and capabilities in relation to supporting architectural views.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), Information Support Plan (ISP) process, DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), and the Command, Control, Communications, and Computers/Cyber Functional Capabilities Board (C4/Cyber FCB).
