Member Experience Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Member Experience Officer to join our team at Mountain America Credit Union. As a key member of our branch operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, meeting their financial needs, and promoting our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality service to credit union members by assessing their needs, advising on products and services, and assisting with transactions.
- Build and maintain relationships with members through regular interactions, including in-person and phone conversations.
- Recognize and respond to member needs, educating them on financial management options and cross-selling products and services as needed.
- Resolve member complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and disburse loans within lending limits and credit union guidelines.
- Originate loans by reviewing applications, interviewing applicants, and cross-selling financial services.
- Perform cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a secure and organized cash drawer.
- Assist with branch opening and closing procedures, ensuring security and compliance with regulations.
- At least one year of retail banking or related sales and customer service experience.
- Ability to multitask, maintain composure, and communicate effectively with members and colleagues.
- Basic computer operating skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the regional area.
