About the Role

As a vital member of the United States Air Force, Audiologists play a critical role in protecting the hearing and balance of Airmen and their families. This position requires a high level of expertise in audiology, with a focus on providing comprehensive care and treatment for a range of hearing and balance-related issues.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced equipment and techniques to diagnose and treat hearing and balance disorders
  • Provide expert care and guidance to Airmen and their families on hearing protection and noise reduction
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in audiology
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a doctoral degree in audiology (AuD or PhD)
  • Be certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) or the American Board of Audiology (ABA)
  • Have a minimum of 24 months of experience in audiology
  • Hold a current unrestricted state license
  • Complete Officer Training School course
