Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Clinical Operations: Oversee the clinical operations of our nursing units, including practice standards, staffing, payroll, budgets, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise Nursing Staff: Supervise a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor Quality and Utilization: Monitor the quality of care and utilization of resources, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Develop and Implement Policies: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Collaborate with healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient care across the continuum, researching and implementing best practice models to improve patient outcomes.
  • Investigate and Resolve Concerns: Investigate and resolve patient and family member concerns regarding patient care, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a charge nurse, preceptor, quality improvement champion, or other related leadership experience.
  • Licensure: Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification required, with ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification may be required for positions in specific departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ACLS Certification: ACLS certification strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Mother Baby and L&D Experience: Mother Baby and L&D experience required.
