Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Conduct design and development activities within assigned departments, including water treatment and distribution systems, hydraulic systems, heat transfer systems, and electrical systems.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to engineers and technicians, including research, drafting, specification preparations, and computerized design and project simulations.
- Project Management: Manage capital improvement projects and maintenance programs for electrical equipment and instrumentation & control systems, including transformers, motors, switchgears, and communication systems.
- Asset Management: Participate in asset management, capital planning, and safety initiatives, following National Electric Code (NEC) guidelines.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with engineers, developers, other professionals, and various agencies regarding project status and requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering support or a related field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of design principles, computer applications, and construction management techniques. Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
