Job Title: Data Governance Leader

Crowe is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Leader to establish and drive the company's Data Governance Program and initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy that aligns with Crowe's business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Lead the development and implementation of data quality management and metadata management initiatives.
  • Work closely with data team personnel, business data owners, and stewards to deliver value in a timely manner.
  • Build and operate a recurring function to report on data quality and ensure remediation of data quality issues.
  • Establish and report on metrics to monitor and tangibly demonstrate the value provided to the business via data quality metrics and sensitive data monitoring.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in establishing, leading, and owning data governance programs and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and operationalizing data-related guidelines, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, master data management technology landscape, processes, and design principles.
  • Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with metadata management, data catalogs, and data stewardship tools.
