Job Title: Registered Nurse - Case Management

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a Case Management position at one of our esteemed facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating care along a continuum, ensuring that patients receive the right level of care based on medical necessity. This will involve assessing patients for transition needs, promoting timely throughput, and preventing avoidable readmissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilization Management: Supporting medical necessity and denial prevention
  • Transition Management: Promoting appropriate length of stay, readmission prevention, and patient satisfaction
  • Care Coordination: Demonstrating throughput efficiency while ensuring care is the right sequence and at the appropriate level of care
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements, TJC accreditation standards, and Tenet policy
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required: Current RN licensure in State of Massachusetts
  • Knowledge and Skills: 2 years RN acute care hospital experience. Acute care case management experience preferred. Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification preferred
