Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to maintenance personnel, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Equipment Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and quality-conscious manner, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to maintenance personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, including operations, production, and quality assurance.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus technical education or equivalent of a minimum 5 years documented experience in an industrial maintenance related field. A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience required.
- Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC's, refrigeration, boilers, mechanical equipment, and facilities. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
