Cabinets To Go seeks a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full cycle accounting, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and journal entry preparation.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks, including:

  1. Reconciling and analyzing general ledger accounts, including revenue and expense accounts.
  2. Preparing and reviewing journal entries, including accruals and prepayments.
  3. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  4. Reconciling and analyzing bank statements, including daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.
  5. Performing accounting research and resolving exceptions.
  6. Assisting with the annual budget process, including preparing and reviewing budget reports.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • A strong understanding of full cycle accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in PC-based accounting software, including QuickBooks and ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modeling.
  • A working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and at least 2-3 years of experience in full cycle accounting. AS 400 experience is a plus.
