Responsibilities:
• Monitor financial status by tracking and researching variances from the planned budget.
• Facilitate the decision-making process by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results.
• Assist in resolving commercial issues, including collection issues.
• Review and maintain the accuracy of customer pricing changes and retro billings.
• Participate in the contract review process to ensure financial viability.
• Improve financial status by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions.
• Investigate and resolve customer debits to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Develop automated applications to increase productivity and eliminate duplications.
• Conduct weekly tracking and reporting of plant expendable packaging claims.
• Assemble and summarize data, prepare reports, and make presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations to management.
• Support the coordination and preparation of the month-end close process, as well as the budget and forecast process.
• Develop financial models to support different budget and forecast scenarios.
• Provide assistance to operating management in assigned areas to facilitate proper implementation and control of budgeted plans and objectives.
• Support Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable job tasks and promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment is maintained at all times.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.• Proficient in various accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
• Demonstrated experience in budget processes including planning, forecasting, and analysis.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in financial software programs and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Relevant professional certification such as CFA or CPA is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven business decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
