As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing electrical systems in packaging, conveyor systems, and production equipment. Your expertise in 480V systems, AC/DC drives, and working with PLCs and process controls will be essential in ensuring plant objectives and production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems for packaging equipment, conveyor systems, and process controls.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including new equipment installations.
  • Work with 480V, 3-phase power, AC/DC drives, and industrial control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and NEC codes.
  • Maintain documentation and troubleshoot PLCs, servo, and vision systems.
  • Operate and troubleshoot industrial printers, laser coders, and detection systems.
  • Support plant programs to meet production objectives and goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with PLCs, 480V systems, AC/DC drives, and single/three-phase wiring is required.
  • Familiarity with NEC codes, electrical control diagrams, and industrial power distribution (480V) is essential.
  • Experience with AB/Rockwell PLCs, servo/HMI software, and vision system troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, industrial software) and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are necessary.
  • Must be able to work in tight spaces, at heights, and handle physical demands.
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility with shifts and overtime are a must.
