Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planning Coordinator to join our team at Direct Hire Global. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning production activities to ensure timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Material Coordination: Collaborate with the Material Handler and Purchasing teams to ensure stock availability of raw materials, including rings, foam, dampers, and corrugated.

  • Purchase Order Management: Submit purchase orders for approval to purchase raw materials and finished goods oval from HCP/Flextech.

  • Production Floor Support: Provide direction and support for work-in-process on the manufacturing floor with various departments, ensuring priorities are known and delivered upon in a timely manner.

  • ERP System Implementation: Contribute as a team member of the ERP system implementation for Phase II functionality.

  • Training and Data Preparation: Assist with the preparation of data and training in the ERP system as needed.

  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Work with the Production Manager to meet on-time delivery KPI's, run production reports for management, and lead physical inventory.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure on-time delivery and meet business objectives.

Requirements

  • Integration and Communication: Ability to quickly integrate with the production teams to become familiar with the processes of the business.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to allow effective communication with all levels of the company.

  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills to coordinate and plan production activities.

  • Safety and Integrity: Must be safety-minded and able to identify and report risks if needed, exhibiting good judgment, ingenuity, and personal and professional integrity.
