Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Management Director to join our team at ATC White Plains. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care services in accordance with established hospital, departmental, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement departmental goals and objectives that align with the hospital's mission and strategic plan.
  • Oversee the management of personnel, including interviewing, recommending hires, evaluating, counseling, and recommending terminations of employees.
  • Prepare and monitor department budgets, ensuring compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Assure employee compliance with hospital, nursing department, and Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the hospital's Performance Improvement Program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote a safe and patient-centered environment.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with community agencies and facilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, as well as HMO operations and other private health insurance requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with RN License required; Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • 5 years of managerial experience within the acute hospital setting.
  • Previous experience as a case manager required.
  • Knowledge of healthcare financial, regulatory, and payer issues setting required.
  • Computer skills required.

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to move quickly throughout the work environment and the hospital. The employee must be able to utilize a computer with Microsoft Office experience and communicate with patients and others in a caring and sensitive manner.
