  • Regularly lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail point of sale, grocery, or warehouse setting as a merchandise receiver or inventory auditor.
  • Proven ability to code and reconcile invoices accurately.
  • Strong merchandising skills.
  • Capability to interpret and understand financial documents relevant to this role.
  • Commitment to teamwork and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities.

Additional Information:

The Purchasing Receiver operates within a retail grocery, kitchen/bakery, and office environment. This role is vital for verifying received products, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining the accuracy of our Point of Sale (POS) system. Responsibilities include receiving both packaged and perishable goods from delivery personnel, confirming invoice accuracy, and assessing product quality. The position may also involve operating a forklift or pallet jack and working in various areas, including walk-in coolers and kitchen/bakery production zones. Physical demands include bending, reaching, walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

This position requires a flexible schedule, including shifts during opening, closing, weekends, and holidays.
