Purchasing Analyst

Job Responsibilities


Develop and manage strong relationships with new and existing vendors to ensure seamless procurement processes.


Initiate purchase orders and maintain adequate inventory levels to meet business needs.


Maintain all documents pertaining to purchase orders for Customs Regulations compliance.


Manage multiple product lines, including negotiation of vendor pricing and terms.


Manage Requests for Proposal (RFP) and/or Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to secure best value for the company.


Collaborate with suppliers and Engineering to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.


Provide product support for sales teams and analyze inventory and sales data to inform business decisions.


Develop and prepare statistical and informational reports related to procurement to support business initiatives.


Track shipments and communicate critical changes to sales teams.


Manage the drafting of contracts with new vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (at least 2 years of business experience).


Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.


Strong computer skills including MS Office (specifically Microsoft Excel), CRM and SRM.


Strong communication and organizational skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.


Purchasing/Inventory experience a plus.
