Job Description Overview

Mount Sinai Health System seeks a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Mount Sinai Morningside. As a key member of our Interventional Radiology department, you will be responsible for assisting with CT Scan studies and other diagnostic exams, ensuring high-quality images and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate CT Scanners and other diagnostic equipment, applying technical expertise to obtain high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate scan protocols and ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Evaluate radiographs for technical acceptability and ensure timely transmission to PACS.
  • Maintain a clean and organized radiology environment, adhering to departmental standards.
  • Accurately record patient tracking information and schedule exams into the Radiology Information System.
