Position: Maintenance & Fire Safety Supervisor
Salary Range: $75,000 to $80,000
Additional Compensation: $1,000.00 Annual Supervisor Bonus

Role SummaryThe Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the maintenance department, working closely with the Director or Assistant Director. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of facility operations, maintenance techniques, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Directs and organizes maintenance department activities to ensure efficient operation and staff engagement.
- Maintains quality and flow of work to guarantee timely completion of tasks while adhering to quality standards.
- Evaluates current methods and recommends improvements to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Prepares and maintains departmental records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manages inventory of materials and equipment, initiating requisitions as necessary.
- Assumes full departmental responsibilities in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director.
- Assigns tasks and monitors employee performance to ensure standards are met.
- Coordinates employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Addresses and resolves complaints, seeking guidance from the Director of Plant Operations when needed.
- Trains new employees and provides ongoing support and training to existing staff.
- Conducts interviews and recommends candidates for hiring.
- Prepares performance evaluations and manages disciplinary actions as required.
- Oversees preventative maintenance and repair projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Participates as a member of the facility's fire response team.
- Assists with snow removal from facility grounds as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Associate degree preferred or a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare or related field.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must obtain F-89 Fire and Life Safety Director Certificate of fitness within six months of hire.
