Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable individual to fill the role of Utility Person/Truck Driver for the Grundy County Engineer's Office. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate a Motor Grader out of Conrad or a Truck Driver out of Grundy Center, depending on the season.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating a Motor Grader or Truck Driver in a safe and efficient manner

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment

• Assisting with construction projects and events

• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Requirements include:

• Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

• Knowledge of construction equipment and mechanical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Dependable work record and strong work ethic

Additional requirements include:

• Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

• Submitting to post-accident, random, reasonable suspicion, return to duty, and follow-up testing as required by federal regulations

• Passing a pre-employment job physical
