Job Summary

The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of SHARE Baltimore, responsible for overseeing the administration, strategic direction, and execution of the organization's mission. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED will manage all aspects of the organization's operations, including leadership, financial sustainability, program development, community engagement, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of the organization's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the mission and goals of the Community Land Trust.
  • Provide visionary leadership that ensures the long-term success, sustainability, and growth of the organization.
  • Serve as the key spokesperson for the organization, promoting the CLT model, engaging with stakeholders, and enhancing the organization's visibility and reputation in the community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, public administration, urban planning, business administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience in a nonprofit, housing, or community development organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, grant writing, and resource development, with a proven track record of securing funding from diverse sources.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, financial planning, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.
