We are seeking a highly skilled RN Scheduler Endoscopy South Shore to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our endoscopy department, you will be responsible for scheduling patients, communicating with diverse groups, and teaching effectively. Key Responsibilities- Think critically and use good judgment to deliver high-quality patient care and schedule patients efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with diverse groups, delegate tasks, and manage nursing team resources.
- Use data and information to evaluate and promote change, achieving optimal patient outcomes.
- Embody concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction, employee morale, and professional development.
- Adapt behavior to meet the specific needs of patients, including respect for privacy and effective communication.
- Registered nurse diploma or associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
- 2 years of relevant experience and proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication, and ability to work a flexible schedule.
The physical demands of this role include exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
