RN-Endoscopy-Part Time Jefferson Highway

Ochsner Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide education and support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Experience in endoscopy or gastroenterology nursing a plus.
