Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Wauseon Machine / McAlister Design and Automation. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling tooling and/or equipment per assembly drawings, inspecting products for accuracy and uniformity, and operating CNC machines when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and load trucks
  • Discern quality of parts and materials used in production
  • Assemble tooling and/or equipment per assembly drawings
  • Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process
  • Responsible for the restocking of inventory
  • Inspect products for accuracy and uniformity
  • Operate CNC machines when needed
  • Assist Shipping Department when needed
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints
  • General machinist skills (preferred)
  • Forklift license (preferred)

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and, at times, independently based on the work requirements
