Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Wauseon Machine / McAlister Design and Automation. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload and load trucks with precision and care.
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Assemble tooling and/or equipment according to detailed assembly drawings.
- Inventory and manage parts and tools used in the assembling process.
- Restock inventory as needed to maintain optimal levels.
- Inspect products for accuracy and uniformity, ensuring they meet our high standards.
- Operate CNC machines when required, demonstrating proficiency and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the Shipping Department as needed to ensure seamless logistics.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Production Manager to support the team's goals.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints, ensuring accurate assembly and production.
- General machinist skills, preferred, to enhance your technical expertise.
- Forklift license, preferred, to expand your operational capabilities.
