POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Supervisor of Addiction Therapy, your leadership, guidance, and mentorship of Addiction Therapists are vital for fostering professional development and enhancing clinical programs, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes. You play a crucial role in program innovation and quality assurance within the unit.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time
WORK LOCATION: Evelyn Brandon Health Center
DEPARTMENT: Chemical Dependency Services
WORK SCHEDULE: Day Shift
KEY ATTRIBUTES
- Preferred prior supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Exhibited empathy and compassion
- At least three years of clinical experience in chemical dependency or behavioral health, including internships
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Creative Arts Therapy, Education, Marriage & Family Therapy, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Social Work, or a related Human Services field is required.
- Advanced CASAC, Master CASAC, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT certification is mandatory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program & Staff Development: Facilitate individual and group supervisory sessions that enhance clinical and program service quality; oversee staff productivity and adherence to medical record and regulatory standards.
- Leadership: Conduct performance assessments utilizing quantitative and qualitative metrics; assess clinical competencies of staff based on evidence-based practice guidelines; provide supervision aimed at improving clinical outcomes, including client access, engagement, and retention in treatment.
- Caseload Management: Maintain an active client caseload and ensure timely completion of medical record documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

QHP - Qualified Health Professional - NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS)PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
S - Sedentary Work - Involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
