Substance Use Disorder Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Professional to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and case management services to patients struggling with substance use disorders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive substance use disorder assessments in various settings, including office-based, inpatient, and community settings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and provide counseling sessions.
- Respond to referrals from the community and provide substance use disorder assessments and treatment recommendations.
- Provide care coordination and case management services, brief therapy, and motivational interviewing to support patients in recovery.
- Develop relationships with community resources and create treatment and safety plans to assist individuals in resolving chemically induced crises.
- Connect patients and professionals with accurate program and agency resources.
- Complete all required documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Current WA State Substance Use Disorder Professional certification.
- Current Washington state driver's license.
- Minimum one (1) year of recent work experience as a Substance Use Disorder Professional.
- Proof of a safe driving record.
