Key Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Care Specialist at BoosterPet, you will be responsible for supporting veterinary technicians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocating for pets, and educating clients. You will work closely with our team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine wellness and illness examinations and procedures
  • Communicating with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offering guidance on Membership options, medications, and additional treatments
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive medical records
  • Obtaining relevant health history and information from clients and maintaining medical charts
  • Using safe techniques, following standard protocols, and helping to maintain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs
  • Guiding, mentoring, and supporting fellow team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an active license in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Washington and an active DEA license in good standing.
