We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Director for the Sophie Lin Rydin School of Occupational Therapy in Houston. As a member of our academic leadership team, you will play a key role in fostering a climate of intellectual vitality and academic excellence within the school.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Texas Woman's University, the nation's largest public university system primarily for women, as we continue to grow and expand our programs in occupational therapy. You will have the chance to work closely with our innovative and student-centered faculty members, managing day-to-day operations and supervising staff.

About the Role

As Associate Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the campus programs, including budget management and staff supervision. You will also work closely with the School Director and other Associate Directors to ensure seamless collaboration and communication across teams.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of teaching and service, experience in leadership and inter-professional collaboration, an active line of research, funding, and publication, and occupational therapy practice experience. A doctoral degree in occupational therapy or a related field is required, as well as eligibility for occupational therapist licensure in the State of Texas and meet TWU criteria for Associate Professor/Professor, eligible for tenure.

Salary and Location

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is located in Houston, Texas, at the TWU Institute of Health Sciences - Houston Center.
