The Group Fitness Coordinator is a key member of our team at Crunch Fitness - Fit Fusion LLC, responsible for overseeing and managing the group fitness program at a single location. This role requires a strong focus on upholding brand standards, training and developing the instructor team, and ensuring an exceptional member experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee group fitness programming, including recruiting, staffing, and developing the instructor team.
- Directly supervise all instructors and communicate gym-level changes to instructors and club management.
- Implement and supervise the class schedule for all studios, ensuring the correct class offerings based on demographics and gym usage.
- Conduct instructor trainings for staff on new formats and programming, and perform evaluations to ensure quality instructors align with Crunch brand standards.
- Design and implement special GF and HIITZone events to increase member participation in classes and promote the Crunch Brand while driving Peak Results sales.
- Cross-promote personal training and group training to drive gym revenue and retention.
- Ensure proper reporting of class participation numbers on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for the region.
- Submit weekly group fitness reports to gym-level management team.
- Oversee the use of social media for group fitness promotion at gym level.
- Attend weekly scheduled meetings with gym-level management team.
- 5+ years of group fitness management experience.
- Current national group fitness certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Fitness industry specialization.
- Reports directly to the general manager and national-level group fitness director.
- Works in conjunction with the gym-level management team.
