Physical Therapist BCCS Per Diem

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Brookville Center for Children's Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and providing appropriate physical therapy services to assigned children, participating in planning meetings, and communicating effectively with families and other professional staff.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and provide physical therapy services to assigned children, including implementing activities and therapeutic goals to facilitate motor control and developmental skills.
- Participate in planning meetings to discuss children's needs and develop individualized plans.
- Communicate effectively with families and other professional staff to ensure seamless care and support.
- Assess student needs through formal and informal measures, and develop and implement appropriate goals, objectives, and strategies for intervention.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in conferences, including parent and team meetings, as assigned.
- Maintain professional standards in interactions with families and colleagues.
- Perform other related duties as required, including addressing the special needs of each age group served and maintaining child and family confidentiality.
- Knowledge of anatomy, neuro-motor development, and developmental psychology as normally acquired through completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or entry-level Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from a program approved by the New York State Department of Education.
- Must be a registered physical therapist with a minimum of one year of related work experience working with preschool and school-age special needs populations.
The Physical Therapist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with children, families, and professional staff. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate clearly and professionally, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
