We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Brookville Center for Children's Services. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with developmental disabilities achieve their full potential.
Job Summary:The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities. This includes conducting initial evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support to individuals and their families.
Responsibilities:- Conduct initial evaluations and develop treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Provide physical therapy services to individuals, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Document progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss individual care plans
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in physical therapy
- Current New York State Registered Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience in the field with Developmentally Disabled Adults
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role
- Proficient in computer skills
