Compensation:

Starting salary at $60,000 (Exempt)

Role Responsibilities:

Supervises the daily and long-term operations of the case management team by providing direction, resources, and support, while ensuring the effective and timely delivery of services to children and families in need.

A Day in the Life of a Foster Care Team Leader:

  • Ensure timely completion of service plans that incorporate client feedback.
  • Assess all foster care services to ensure alignment with the agency's long-term goals and efficiency standards.
  • Provide case management and support services to clients in the absence of staff.
  • Review and validate records, reports, and documentation from supervised staff to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one supervision sessions with the case management team.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Experience in Child Welfare (preferred).
  • Child Welfare Licensure (preferred).

Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess an insured vehicle.
  • Minimum of three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license.
  • Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training to obtain Child Welfare Licensure.
