Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Behavioral Health Nurse RN to join our team at the Community Psychiatric Institute. This full-time or part-time position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with staff psychiatrist and advanced practice nurse to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct on-site health assessments and administer medications as needed.
  • Coordinate medication refills and changes with pharmacies, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • Facilitate medication education groups and provide individual counseling sessions to patients.
  • Perform medical screenings as necessary and consult with medical providers to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and community residential facilities to coordinate patient care.
  • Review and order lab results as required, maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure and experience in psychiatric nursing.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
