As a Psychiatric Behavioral Health Nurse RN, you will work closely with our staff psychiatrist and APN to provide high-quality patient care. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing nursing and on-site health assessments
- Administering medications and injections
- Coordinating with pharmacies for medication refills and changes
- Facilitating medication education groups
- Providing medication counseling
- Conducting on-site medical screenings as needed
- Consulting with medical providers regarding consumer care
- Communicating and coordinating care with other medical providers and community residential facilities
- Coordinating medical referrals
- Reviewing and ordering labs as needed
- Monitoring and reviewing client charts for accuracy
- Ensuring regulatory compliance with state-mandated rules and guidelines
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Current RN licensure
- Computer literacy and EHR experience
- The ability to demonstrate technological and computer skills and competencies
