Clinical Support Specialist

The Regional Medical Center of Memphis is seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

- This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $42,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience.">
- You will work closely with our nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care, including assisting with various aspects of patient care under general supervision.">
- Responsibilities may include determining the nature of patient visits, taking and recording vital signs, preparing patients for diagnostic examinations, and performing basic lab procedures as instructed.">
- You will also assist with medical procedures and treatments, observe and report patient responses to interventions, and complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner.">
- Ongoing training and education are provided to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge needed to perform your duties effectively.">

- Takes and records patient vital signs, temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.">
- Prepares patients for diagnostic examinations and treatments, including prepping specimens and forwarding them to the laboratory.">
- Performs basic lab procedures as instructed, such as collecting urine, stool, and sputum samples.">
- Assists with medical procedures and treatments, including comforting patients, handing instruments and supplies to physicians, wound care, injections, and applying bandages and hot cold packs.">
- Observes and reports patient responses to interventions and completes all necessary documentation in a timely manner.">
- Provides one-on-one support to patients requiring close observation and monitoring to ensure their safety and prevention of injury.">

- Completion of an approved nursing assistant or medical assistant program.">
- Current CPR/BLS certification.">
- Current Nurse Aide Certification in the State of Tennessee within 60 days.">
- At least 1 year experience of nursing assistant experience (preferred).">
- Ability to lift, position, and transport patients utilizing proper technique and equipment.">
