The Fermentation Technician II plays a crucial role in the realm of probiotic fermentation and production. This position encompasses a variety of essential tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of fermentation processes.

  • Engagement in Fermentation Activities: Actively participate in the execution of probiotic fermentation tasks.
  • Equipment Management: Responsible for the setup and upkeep of fermentation equipment.
  • Preparation of Media: Prepare necessary media and reagents for fermentation processes.
  • Sanitation Practices: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility.
  • Process Oversight: Monitor and analyze fermentation processes to ensure optimal conditions.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels of supplies and materials.
  • Record Maintenance: Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of fermentation activities.
  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to food safety and quality assurance protocols.
  • Production Support: Assist in various production operations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of an Associate's degree, along with fundamental computer skills and a solid understanding of fermentation methodologies. Desired attributes include:

Certifications:
Preferred certifications include HACCP Certification and PCQI Training.
